Soft ballistic inserts for Templar's Gear

The ‘Sprężyk’ Class K2 soft ballistic inserts have been designed as lightweight, flexible and ergonomic protective components intended for use with compatible accessories from the Templar’s Gear collection.

The inserts meet the requirements of Class K2 in accordance with PN-V-87000:2011, corresponding to Level IIIA under NIJ 0101.06. They provide effective protection against fragments and 7.62×25 mm TT ammunition with a muzzle velocity of 420 m/s ± 15 m/s.

K2 ‘Sprężyk’ products have been tested at the accredited WITU Small Arms and Protective Equipment Testing Laboratory, holding PCA accreditation No. AB 171. Four separate ballistic tests were carried out, each on two independent samples, under various environmental conditions: dry, after rainfall, at +50°C and −40°C.

Thanks to their soft, form-fitting design, the inserts do not restrict freedom of movement, whilst maintaining a high level of comfort during tactical, training and civilian activities. Their design has been adapted for fitting into Templar’s Gear protective gear, enabling an increase in the user’s area of protection without placing an excessive load on the equipment.

Each production batch of 250 units undergoes ballistic testing in accordance with the requirements of the Polish Army. Once they have undergone full ballistic testing, the inserts can be sold on the civilian market – without the end user needing a licence or permit.
