ASTRIVA Ballistic and Fragmentation Protection Mat, 80 × 200 cm – FB2 / K2

The ASTRIVA ballistic and fragmentation protection mat is designed as a multifunctional protection system intended to secure infrastructure, vehicles, and positions exposed to ballistic and fragmentation threats.

With dimensions of 200 × 80 cm, the mat is ideal for shielding doors, windows, and other openings in buildings. Its flexible design allows it to be folded, rolled up, and quickly deployed in areas requiring additional protection.

The mat is equipped with integrated carrying handles that facilitate its transport and allow the structure to be used as an emergency stretcher for evacuating the wounded, provided that the appropriate load capacity is confirmed. Additionally, the MOLLE strap system allows for attaching equipment and connecting several mats to form larger protective surfaces.

The product is available in two ballistic resistance variants:

FB2 – PN-EN 1522 – a protective system designed to stop 9 × 19 mm Parabellum ammunition traveling at a velocity of 400 ± 10 m/s. Thanks to the use of a lightweight UHMWPE polyethylene composite, the weight of the complete mat is approximately 6.64 kg.

K2 – PN-V-87000:2011 – a protective system designed to stop 7.62 × 25 mm TT ammunition, in accordance with the requirements of Class K2 of the Polish standard. The weight of the complete mat is approximately 10.80 kg.

Both variants feature a flexible design, a large protective surface area, and the ability to be folded and unfolded repeatedly. The mats can provide additional protection against selected threats associated with FPV drone attacks, gunfire, and shrapnel; however, resistance to specific shrapnel and explosive threats requires separate verification.

The product is intended for the Armed Forces, uniformed services, entities responsible for infrastructure protection, and civilian users.
