Ballistic Plate K3B “Turkuć”

The “Turkuć” K3B-class ballistic plate, compliant with the PN-V-87000:2011 standard, was designed as a stand-alone protective plate that does not require an additional soft ballistic insert.

It provides effective protection against 5.56×45 mm SS109 ammunition with a bullet weight of 4.0 g and a velocity of 950 m/s ±15 m/s, in accordance with the requirements of Class K3B of the PN-V-87000:2011 standard.

The “Turkuć” K3B ballistic plates were tested at the accredited Laboratory for Small Arms and Protective Equipment Testing at the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) (PCA No. AB 171).

The plate was tested under dry conditions, after exposure to rain, and at extreme temperatures of -40°C and +50°C, with 6 shots fired at each plate. The recorded dynamic deflections ranged from 4 to 23 mm.

“Turkuć” combines a high level of protection with low weight and an ergonomic design. The SAPI M-sized plate weighs approximately 2.1–2.2 kg, providing a favorable weight-to-protection ratio. The contoured design makes it easier to adjust the plate to the user’s body shape and improves comfort during prolonged use.

The plate is intended for both uniformed services personnel and demanding civilian users seeking proven protection against rifle ammunition.

Each batch of 250 units undergoes ballistic testing in accordance with the requirements applied to deliveries to the Polish Armed Forces.

The plate has undergone comprehensive ballistic testing. The product is available on the civilian market—purchase and possession do not require a permit or license.
