Ballistic abdominal protection – K2 ‘Sprężyk’

The ASTRIVA ballistic abdominal protection has been designed as an additional module to increase the user’s area of protection. The pocket is attached to the vest via a wide Velcro panel, allowing it to be quickly fitted or removed and to be compatible with a wide range of vests and plate carriers fitted with a suitable Velcro panel.

The pouch is made from durable 770 dtex ‘TAKTYK’ FC IRR FR CORDURA® and a Cordura-based laminate. The materials used have IRR properties, which reduce the visibility of the equipment under night vision.

The protective gear is sold as a set with the ASTRIVA K2 ‘Sprężyk’ soft ballistic insert. This insert provides protection against, amongst other things, the 7.62 × 25 mm TT round, as confirmed by ballistic tests carried out at the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU).

Available colour options include Multicam, wz. 93, Ranger Green and black. The pouch is available in two versions: plain and with a MOLLE panel, allowing for the attachment of additional equipment.
